Brittani R. Cole

Brittani R. Cole practices primarily in business and commercial litigation. Prior to joining McRae & Metcalf, Ms. Cole advocated on both sides of the courtroom as an Assistant Public Defender for the 20th Judicial Circuit in Lee County, Florida and as an Assistant State Attorney for the 10th Judicial Circuit in Polk County, Florida. Ms. Cole has prosecuted and defended thousands of criminal cases, ranging from simple misdemeanors to complex felonies. Ms. Cole has served as first and second chair in over twenty-five jury trials, and has significant litigation and trial experience. Ms. Cole’s prior experience makes her a strong advocate in front of judges and juries.

Ms. Cole received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 2012 and her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2016, where she graduated with Honors, and competed in an award-winning Moot Court Program for Appellate Advocacy.

She enjoys spending time on the water with her family and friends.
